Can you believe I have never used watercolor paper? Like most everything else, I have been too cheap to try it. I like to use what I have and I didn't see a need to purchase special paper. Oh, I can be a silly fool sometimes. I have been itching to color more but my time has been limited. This past weekend I took my time and did something I have wanted to do. In my quest for achieving that rich color & coloring that I see with copics, I pulled out some watercolor paper and used my dry aquapainter technique. I am pleased with the results.
I am planning to change things up on the blog. Try to bring in a regular thing to each day. Maybe I will have a coloring day that will feature all the different ways to color using SU. You might get bored with the dry aquapainter technique, but I personally use it a lot.
