Step It UP! #50

I did things a little different this week. They aren't really "step it up" cards this week. Instead I made the same card using the same basic colors (all the papers are the same), I just played with the DSP I used to change the feel of the card. I haven't seen people using this Well Worn DSP as much as I thought I would. I love it and try to reach for it often. I wanted to show 3 different looks from the same basic supplies.

Okay, so this last one is for my sweety for our upcoming anniversary. 13 years. He has seen it but he doesn't know it is for him. He sees all my cards I make for the week on Sunday evening.

Catalog Inspiration #5

Page 152 in the Idea Book & Catalog. The one in the catalog used a stamp set to create the colored "DSP" for the Butterflies, I just used DSP. I think it was a pretty good match! I also did faux stitching using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool. The "thread" is just my More Mustard Marker.
I used:
Paper: Riding Hood Red CS #111348, First Edition DSP #121878, Patterns DSP Stack in Neutrals #117157, Regals #117154, Subtles #117152, Spice Cake DSP #124003, Paisley Petals DSP #122367, Very Vanilla CS #101650
Stamps: Friendly Phrases #126151
Ink: StazOn Black #101406
