Thursday . . . .

I know I am a broken record this week, but I had a hard time making cards. This one I really like. The technique? I created my own printed paper. I stamped and colored the background paper. I really like the way it turned out. It isn't a quick card, but I wasn't in a rush to figure out the next card, so this was a perfect project for me.

Wednesday - Cards I Love. . . .

I love this card. I love this stamp set. My one complaint is that SU didn't include any cute, punny, sentiments. They name the set Sew Suite and don't include 3 or 4 punny sentiments. So, I am forced to computer generate my own. I love the way this one turned out. Both images were fussy cut and one was popped up on dimentionals.

Tuesday Tip....

I haven't had any card Mojo. Zip. Every card in the past week has been like pulling teeth. Sadly, I had a 6 new stamp sets, new paper and other goodies to play with and no inspiration. I had to just jump in and play with the new stuff. This is not my favorite card, but I love the fabric covered brad. I think the colors are cheery and happy. I think I may learn to like this set, but it will take some time.

Use It UP! Friday

This one didn't turn out like I envisioned. I think maybe I should have stamped the roses in black and colored them in with the Cherry Cobbler. I wanted a more dramatic, contrasty look. I think the green and softness of the roses misses the mark. But there it is.
