Tuesday Tip

Today's card is a Re-Do. Four or five years ago, a friend of mine, Martha, sent me the cutest card. It was simple but just beautiful. The following year I made it my Christmas card.
The other day I was thinking about that card and went looking for it. My skills have improved a little since then and I thought it would make a perfect holiday thank you card...... this is also a preview for the next Step It UP! project....

I used:
Paper: Early Espresso CS #119686, Old Olive CS #100702, Very Vanilla CS #101650, Cherry Cobbler CS #119685
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree #115026
Ink: Early Espresso Marker #119680, Old Olive Marker #100079
Other: Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon #120902, Dimentionals #104430

Here are pictures of the inspiration cards:

Thanks for stopping by and looking! Have a terrific Tuesday :-)

Nothing like seeing your name to bring you out of blog lurkdom! You've always been a talented stamper...and I'm loving all your great ideas. Now if I could just get my own act together enough to return to the stamping table (this working outside of the home is really messing with my crafty mojo)

thank you Joan for the sweet comment on my blog. You know Lovely As A Tree was the very first stamp set I ever bought and it is by far my most favorite. I use it over and over for all sorts of cards and I never get tired of it. Here you have made another card with a perfect example of how versatile it is. THanks for sharing it with all of us in blogland~Donna

I like them all, but your most recent iteration is my favorite. I think it's because of the multiple mats and the new ink color. Simple and elegant.
