I used:
Paper: Basic Black CS #121045, Cherry Cobbler CS #119685, Very Vanilla CS #101650, Love Letters DSP #117162
Other: Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die #114507, Big Designer Buttons Deck the Halls #121002
twine #100982
I made another card last January using buttons. I was wanting to make one of those cute cherry cards but didn't have the stamps or paper so I used what I had to come up with a substitute....
The card stock and buttons are SU but they are retired (except for the whisper white). The printed paper and ribbon are non-su, and the sentiment is printed from the computer. I just wanted to share another example of buttons as a focal point and not as an accent.
Thanks for stopping by and looking! Leave a comment and make my day :-)

What a fun idea! I've got a few cards to make...hopefully, I can make a dent in my stash o' buttons. :)
Every time you use Cherry Cobbler it makes me hungry. I have GOT to get this color into my inventory.
LOVE the different papers on the wings and the button body is so cute! Just another reminder to me to look around at the things I already have when I start creating, huh? Thanks Joanie!
I really love the way you used two different patterned papers to make your butterfly. That Houndstooth is one of my favorites. And your scoring of the white mat is really neat!
I love this card AND I think it meets my skill level to CASE! Thanks, Joanie! :)
