Step It UP! #50

I did things a little different this week. They aren't really "step it up" cards this week. Instead I made the same card using the same basic colors (all the papers are the same), I just played with the DSP I used to change the feel of the card. I haven't seen people using this Well Worn DSP as much as I thought I would. I love it and try to reach for it often. I wanted to show 3 different looks from the same basic supplies.

Step #1 CARD:

I used:
Paper: River Rock CS #108640, Early Espresso CS #119686, Very Vanilla CS #101650, Well Worn DSP #122359
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree #115026, Something to Celebrate #retired
Ink: Early Espresso #119680, River Rock #120972, Always Artichoke #105113, Old Olive #100079
Other: White Taffeta Ribbon #109070, Antique Brads #117273

Step #2 CARD:

I used:
Paper: River Rock CS #108640, Early Espresso CS #119686, Very Vanilla CS #101650, Well Worn DSP #122359
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree #115026, Something to Celebrate #retired
Ink: Early Espresso #119680, River Rock #120972, Old Olive #100079, Always Artichoke #105113, Not Quite Navy #100069
Other: Not Quite Navy Taffeta Ribbon #122978, Antique Brads #177273

Step #3 CARD:

Okay, so this last one is for my sweety for our upcoming anniversary. 13 years. He has seen it but he doesn't know it is for him. He sees all my cards I make for the week on Sunday evening.

I used:

Ink: Always Artichoke #105113, Early Espresso #119680, Old Olive #100079

Gotta comment! I love all three cards. I am surprised at the suble difference in the color of scrunched ribbon. Plus, for three different occasions with the same stamp. I really enjoy seeing the different looks that the stamp can create. You didn't even try to color the tree's leaves for a totally different card. Thanks for sharing this with us.
