Tag #5

Another "Jim Shultz" inspired tag. I posted this one today on "Use It UP! Friday" because I used some retired paper. I loved this DSP. The deer is clip art from the computer that I printed off and traced onto Very Vanilla CS. I used a retired BG stamp, Linen, to add texture. This tag I love. It was fun to make.

TGIF.....

Normally, I am not a fan of jumping right into Christmas the moment Thanksgiving ends. Thanksgiving gets the bums rush because of the money earning power of Christmas. I like Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday. But this card is so cute, and it is still so darn hot here, that I always like to fantasize about cold weather and white Christmases. So while we are still enjoying Thanksgiving, I tip my hate to the fantasy of a white Christmas.

Tuesday Tip

I don't do tags very often. Mainly, because I don't have a clue what to do with them. They seem like a lot of effort for such a little thing...LOL! Today's card is built around a tag. It is  a simple tag, but I think it works on this card. You should try it too. Take a simple tag or a more elaborate tag that you love, and build a card around it.
I used:
Paper: Crumb Cake CS #120953, Always Artichoke CS #105119, Very Vanilla CS #101650, Deck the Halls DSP #120810
Stamps: Bells & Boughs #121142

Other: Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402, XL Decorative Label Punch #120907, Seam Binding Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler #120992, Linen Thread #104199
