Halloween Boots

Love this fun Halloween boot!

The Natural Composition DSP is the common thread throughout these 4 cards in the Bootiful Occasions cards I am showing this week. 

I wanted to show how versatile it can be.... from cowboy boots, rain boots, witches boots, to Victorian boots - this paper can work with them all!

I almost didn't order it because it looked sort-of yellow in the catalog.

I was afraid I couldn't match it.

It works well with crumb cake (shown here) and soft suede if you wanted a darker shade.

Rain, Rain, Go Away

This was a fun card to do,

I stamped the rain boot twice, and cut them out.

Next, I figured out the placements of the boot and I traced a fine pencil line on the bottom boot so I could easily put them back together exactly the way I wanted them.

I then painted them with my aquapainter with real red ink.

I added the color to give them shape (more like real boots).

I painted the puddle in Midnight Muse and then added Crystal Effects to make it a reflective puddle.

I love this set of stamps.

I knew as soon as I saw it, I would use each and every stamp.

So, starting today and on through Monday, I will feature this stamp set.

I love this card.

I was working toward a Texas feel, without it being over the top.

I really like all of the components of this card.

Even the inside is cute :-)
