TGIF.....

I saw a card similar to this but it wasn't using any SU products. It was so cute and I thought it would be easy to re-create using all SU! One thing I would do differently.... I would use craft ink to give the stamped image a really bright and bold look. I am still pleased with the way it turned out, but I would like the image to be bolder.

I used:
Paper: Crumb Cake CS #120953, Basic Black CS #121045, Patterns DSP Brights #117155, Very Vanilla CS #101650
Stamps:  Delicate Doilies #122592, Grunge Rock #120555
Ink: Real Red #103133, Basic Black #101179
Other: Lace Ribbon #118480, Modern Label Punch #119849, Dimensionals #104430

Technique Thursday

I have showed a number of cards in the past few weeks where I have stamped on printed paper and cut it out. I think it is a fun way to use a stamp, and I often forget about it.
When I saw these monsters, I knew it would be a perfect technique for these guys.
If you are going to try this, you will need a very good pair of scissors. My favorite are cutter bees. My sweet friend, Jenny (in Minnesota) sent me a pair some years ago and I couldn't believe the difference a good pair of scissors makes.
I find cutting paper like this very relaxing, so I really enjoy this technique.
If you give it a try, I would love to see your creations!

I used:
Stamps: Make a Monster #120606-clear  #118742-wood, Grunge Rock #120555-clear, #117080-wood
Paper: Basic Black CS #121045, Whisper White CS #100730, Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack Brights #117155
Ink: Basic Black #101179
Other: 1/4" grosgrain ribbon black #109027, Dimentionals #104430
