Wednesday ... Cards I Love! and Retro Sketches

I am on a Night of Navy kick. I have always loved Navy but haven't used it much in the past 6 months or so. Now, I am reaching for it every other time I sit down to make a card.
It is easy to go masculine with Navy, but I love the challenge of making a sophisticated feminine card using Night of Navy.
This sketch was a perfect match for this type of card!
I love the way it turned out.
Supplies:
  • Sahara Sand CS, Night of Navy CS, Very Vanilla CS, Whisper White CS, First Edition DSP
  • Artistic Etchings, French Foliage, Elements of Style, Fresh Vintage
  • StazOn Black, Sahara Sand, Night of Navy
  • 5 Petal Punch, 1" Square Punch, Postage Punch, Antique Brads, Dimensionals, Stamping Sponges

Wednesday ...Cards I LOVE

If you have checked out my blog with any regularity you know that I go in phases of super fandom.
I stumble upon these fantastic artists in the Stampin up world, and drool over their work and wish I had an ounce of the the talent they have. I am sure I am not alone in this.
Well, my current attention is directed at Teneale Williams. http://tenealewilliams.com.au/
When I don't think I have another card in me,
I check out her creations and I re-create a card (or two).
It helps jump start my creativity, and I am able to create my own cards....eventually.
This week I had to make two Teneale cards before I had an original thought in my head.
Some week's are like that.
Today and tomorrow, you will see my Teneale cards.
She is awesome!
Be sure to check out her blog and leave me a comment.
I would love to hear from you!
