Thursday . . . .

This type of stamping is called "black magic". This was a first time trying this for me. I like the image but I think next time I will create the image and then select the DSP. I usually select the paper and layout, and then select an image to go with the design. It was fun to play with and I will definitely do it again.

I used:
Paper: Basic Black CS #121045, Pawsitively Prints II DSP #117396
Stamps: Just Believe #120453
Ink: Craft White #101731
Other: White Taffeta Ribbon #109070, non-SU brads, colored pencils non-SU

Tuesday Tip

Today's tip is. . . . every once in a while make a card with just one color and a neutral. This kind of card isn't easy for me. I like my bright colors and printed DSPs. For this one I am really using 2 neutrals -River Rock and Black.  I like the way it turned out. I think the key is to have enough detail in the card to add interest. Try it!

My friend Jeanne really likes river rock so this card was inspired by Jeanne!

I used:
Paper: Basic Black CS #121045, River Rock CS #108640, Patterns DSP Stack Neutrals #117157
Stamps: Just Believe #120453
Ink: Versamark #102283, StazOn Black #101406
Other: Black Embossing Powder #109133, Oval Punch #119855, Mat Pack #105826, Ribbon and brads non-SU
