Wednesday... Holiday Catalog Inspiration - Halloween

I admit it ....

I purchased this set because of the cute tag in the Holiday Catalog.

It isn't the first time...

...and it won't be the last.

LOL!

Instead of a tag on the front of a bag,

I made mine into a card

Keeping all of the cute details I loved in the original.

I knew that these would be the first two cards I re-create.

Inspired from the new catalog..... I love saying that..... this one didn't photograph as well as I would have liked. The colors are a bit washed out and in person the are so rich and vibrant!

Catalog Inspiration #5

Page 152 in the Idea Book & Catalog. The one in the catalog used a stamp set to create the colored "DSP" for the Butterflies, I just used DSP. I think it was a pretty good match! I also did faux stitching using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool. The "thread" is just my More Mustard Marker.

Check out page 120 in the Idea Book and Catalog. This is a cute little (3" x 3") card. I stamped the image on watercolor paper with StazOn black. I colored with a dry aquapainter using Early Espresso, Old Olive, and Soft Suede. I cut it out and popped it up on a dimensional onto a piece of watercolor paper cut out using the decorative label punch.
