I love using DSP to make a cute but quick card. This one is simple but the DSP gives it just enough pattern to make it interesting.

Scrapbook Page - Traditional

If you saw the card I posted on Sunday you will notice this is the same layout I used on the card. The vellum word page I made 7 years ago and never put it in a layout. This was long before Photoshop Elements, and it was done in Word and printed on vellum. I figured it was about time I put something together using this.

Colour Q Challenge #110

I saw a card with this layout and I loved it and thought it makes a great card AND would make a great layout for a scrapbook page. So when I saw the colors for this challenge I thought I would challenge my notion that this card sketch would be just as versatile with different colors. I like doing this color challenges because it really does challenge me. I like what I like and I usually don't play with combinations of colors. I love the Colour Q Challenges!

Thursday...A Birthday Banner

My neighbor's little boy is turning 1. I made this banner for him this week. It is the first one I have made.  The party has a John Deere theme.
The picture of the entire banner isn't great. I just strung it up outside of my craft room so it look silly hanging across the front door. Oh well.

I will post a picture of each card in the banner...half today and the remainder tomorrow.

Saturday I will post a video showing how to make those little tractors.

I used a standard A2 sized card. Cardstock base measures 4 1/4" x 11" folded at 5 1/2".

I used a glue dot to keep the card closed over the hemp twine I used to string the banner up.

I used daffodil delight taffeta ribbon in between each card. Striped grosgrain ribbon was used at the beginning, middle and end of the banner.
