Thursday . . . .

Can you believe I have never used watercolor paper? Like most everything else, I have been too cheap to try it. I like to use what I have and I didn't see a need to purchase special paper. Oh, I can be a silly fool sometimes. I have been itching to color more but my time has been limited. This past weekend I took my time and did something I have wanted to do. In my quest for achieving that rich color & coloring that I see with copics, I pulled out some watercolor paper and used my dry aquapainter technique. I am pleased with the results.

I am planning to change things up on the blog. Try to bring in a regular thing to each day. Maybe I will have a coloring day that will feature all the different ways to color using SU. You might get bored with the dry aquapainter technique, but I personally use it a lot.

I used:
Paper: Basic Black CS #121045, Pumpkin Pie CS #105117, Garden Green CS #102584, Patterns DSP Stack Brights #117155, Watercolor Paper #122959
Stamps: Greeting Card Kids #120633, Loads of Love #115022
Ink: Rich Razzleberry #120970, Pumpkin Pie #105115, Garden Green #100080, Crumb Cake #120967, Soft Suede #120973, Basic Black #100082, StazOn #101406, Blushing Bride #119801, Basic Gray #120966, Daffodil Delight #119677
Other: Circle Punches #119850, #119860, #119861, Taffeta Ribbon #nla but you could use #120930, Brads #119736
